Ceremonial Grade Cacao

Cacao trees are grown near the equator, loving the hot and humid climate around the heart centre of the globe !

They begin as little white flowers, some turning into fruit pods, each pod providing 30-40 seeds.

These seeds are extracted, fermented, and dried in the sun (or a kiln), turning them into cacao beans.

These beans are hand peeled, and ground into a paste to become pure raw Cacao that we use for ceremony.

Cacao has been used for thousands of years as a spiritual and physical healer. Her medicine is heart opening and deeply nourishing.

Her energy is of connection, gratitude, healing, wisdom, clarity & abundance. Bringing us gently back into our bodies, connecting with the vast well of wisdom within, and reminding us of our connection to our mother earth.

Cacao is also a physical healer. She is a superfood, containing over 700 known compounds. Ceremonial Cacao has the highest concentration of antioxidants found in any food source on earth. It is packed with manganese, calcium, zinc, copper, iron, potassium, as well as vitamins C, E, B2, B3, B5, B9, and omega 6 fatty acids.

Cacao has cardiovascular health benefits, increasing blood flow to the heart and brain, creating heightened mental agility, awareness and focus.

Cacao is effective at lowering blood pressure and is useful in treating high cholesterol, heart disease, chronic fatigue syndrome and many other conditions. It also stimulates the liver.

Cacao triggers the release of dopamine, the chemical compound responsible for feelings of pleasure and reward.
